Many people thank us and tell us that our videos are very helpful and how nice it is for us to share our knowledge for free.
We have over 100 reviews of local South Florida restaurant reviews on our site with ZERO negative reviews. Our site is a little different in that it is the site to go to find a good place to eat a good meal. It is not a site to down anybody. Basically, if we don't like what we see we let ownership or management know what we thought was wrong. Whether they address it or not it is up to them. Most of the time we will return a few months later for a second try. If it is still bad, we just move on, no harm no foul.
The web is filled with crappy reviews of people complaining about not getting their way. In fact, most reviews are written spitefully by someone that was not getting what they wanted. While an average restaurateur has no way to fight this negative exposure that unfortunately stays online forever. One bad rating has a major impact on your rating average. We really don't review many national chains because they have this type of help from corporate and we strongly believe in helping the locally owned and operated restaurants.
